After witnessing some "epic fails" when it comes to using bitumen and liquid installs of sound deadening, I thought I would write this blog with regards to the benefits and performance of alu butyl sound deadening for cars. 
Lesser a cost is not always a reason to fit a sound deadening product to your car, especially not your pride and joy!

The outer surface (filmic barrier) of the alu butyl car sound deadening is UV stable and tear proof.

The aluminium foil (alu) is only 20 microns thick above the active car sound deadening layer, meaning it will not transmit as many vibrations through the product and it will not cut your skin when installing it like many other alu butyl car sound deadening products.  This was an important consideration when designing the car sound deadening product for ease of fitment. 

The active butyl layer is specially developed to stay flexible over time and has an operating temperature of -40C to + 90C as well as a fitting temperature of 5C to 40C, how many other alu butyl car sound deadening products can offer these types of properties. 

The alu butyl car sound deadening material is also waterproof and is great for sealing holes against water ingress.

No visits to the first aid box if you forget your gloves.
